About Beads Really.

My AI generated origin story was fascinating, but untrue. Over about twenty years I developed my own designs and techniques to make things out of beads. I started with pouch necklaces and other jewelry mainly for something to do in my free time. I also enjoy giving art to friends so was motivated to produce more fancy things. (Some statement about coffee shops in the 90's inserteid here.) I made my first ant with four legs, one antenna and two tiny wings, definitely royalty. A Queen was born and needed wo1rkers. I figured out how to use a single wire to string up an ant and moved on to dragonflies. They were a messed up lot. :)  The bugs evolved over time and I am very proud of what they have become. Then the seed bead problem started. All these tiny beads started showing up that I had no idea what to do with, what to do? Make an SR-71 blackbird out of beads! Obvious right? Using wire instead of string and using the technique I learned from making necklaces I was able to get a good start on one. It's about a 10" long, half finished, has engines and is one of the oldest projects I have yet to (never, ever) finish.

I do enjoy nature, but not as much as the AI claimed. (Nobody is that sultry of a wood nymph.) Flowers were next to come about, easier to make then jet aircraft and they pair well with bugs. I started with a simple daisy design and instantly jumped to making daffodils. Bluebells came out of learning to make daffodils and the basic rose design followed that. I am currently doing the drawings and planning for a new project, Wildflowers of the US. I want these flowers to be as realistic in size and color as possible with the goal of creating a public art display. I just enjoy making things people enjoy looking at. Thank you for the interest and hope you have a wonderful day/night.   -Jim-
